Why is the lymphatic system so important?
The body depends largely on the lymphatic system to collect and dispose of the body’s damaged cells and toxins. It does this by modifying a portion of the body’s blood plasma to colorless liquid called lymph which travels throughout the body, seeking to collect damaged cells and toxins. Linking itself to impurities it finds, the lymph travel to the lymph nodes which filter out the toxins and wastes for disposal. The clean filtered lymph returns back to the body for further usage. The axillary (underarm) lymph nodes are closest to the breast. 97% of the lymphatic fluid that drains the breast is filtered by these important underarm nodes.
The position that the breast tissue is held is very important for allowing proper lymphatic drainage. When the tissue is directed forward with help from proper support provided from underneath the breasts, the axillary nodes are less likely to become pinched or compressed, and thus less likely to compromise healthy drainage.
When the delicate tubules transporting lymph to the axillary nodes are clamped shut on account of pressure from an ill-fitted bra or underwire support, natural drainage of the breast tissue can be compromised. The nodes can “back-up”, sometimes causing lymphatic fluid to collect with puffiness experienced in the underarm area.
Occasionally surgical scars can cause breast pain or “pulling”, and pockets of collected lymphatic fluid develop. The TAB bra is designed to minimize or eliminate this condition altogether. TAB has been used by women after all types of procedures including mastectomy, lumpectomy and cosmetic surgery.

Lymphatic System

The Amazing Bra was designed to address health dangers such as these. The daily practice of gently bringing breast tissue from under your arms and placing it into the directional guides in front of the body is good. Also, the “shelf” design gently raises the breast tissue from underneath in contrast to a conventional bra which pulls the breast tissue upwards from the shoulder straps above. The TAB bra has no underwires to cut off circulation or lymphatic flow. The TAB bra has directional guides that can help to direct any wayward breast tissue from under the arms and the back to the front helping to increase lymphatic flow and circulation. The Tab bra has no elastic fabric in the straps. These features matter especially to women who understand and value the health benefits of proper breast support especially as it related to healthy lymphatic drainage.
The TAB bra allows us to offer the most healthy, comfortable, and fashionable custom-fitted bra on the market today! It’s rising growth in popularity is because it addresses the values of health, comfort and shape.
Some of the body’s lymph nodes are located in the shoulders near the armpit/breast area. 97% of your body’s lymph fluid passes through these nodes, and they can easily be pinched or blocked. Providing the proper support to promote lymphatic drainage is a major benefit of the TAB bra. |
